While Amazon Prime Day may be the shopping holiday hogging all the attention this July, Independence Day is the original hot deal summer event. The Fourth of July may be over now, but we're still seeing consistent discounts from the big day continue over into the rest of the week. It may be that we continue seeing some of the best deals below through to Prime Day, which starts on July 11. Take a look below for the very best Fourth of July deals that are still active right now.

Android phones

Smartphone deals were somewhat sparse last week, but they kicked up again for July 4th. The Galaxy S23 line and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are seeing consistent discounts, and while Pixel deals have been fewer and farther between, they'll let you get the full Google software experience for less. Both the Moto Razr+ and OnePlus 11 deals rely on Best Buy's Activate Today, so you'll need to activate these phones on either AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, or Google FI during the purchase process.

Tablets & Chromebooks

Chromebook deals over July Fourth were mostly at Best Buy, but most of them have now dried up. We'd expect some of them to return nearer to Prime Day. As a Chromebook aficionado, Best Buy is always where I start my deal-hunting because it offers a superior selection and more frequent discounts. Tablet deals have been a bit more sparse this holiday between the early Prime Day deals of yesterweek and the main event July 11, but we'll keep updating as we find them!

Earbuds & headphones

This might sound slightly heretical, but this holiday weekend has actually been a somewhat awkward time for earbuds deals. There were far more on sale two weeks ago, and there will certainly be more on sale next week for Prime Day itself, but there are still some deals to tide us over until then. We'll keep our eyes peeled for more early Prime Day earbuds deals as we head further into July, though.

TVs & smart home

July 4th was exactly one week out from Prime Day, so we've found the smart home deals are finally heating up. Arlo has spun up a few home security camera deals while Lifx and Govee are slashing smart light prices, though we're still waiting for Philips Hue to get in on the action. Of course, with Prime Day so close, Amazon has put almost all of its smart home security devices on sale as well as its TVs.
